SPEAKER CLASS: "Quilting With African Fabric" with Kena Tangi Dorsey (ZOOM)

Demystify the rules around working with African prints and learn how to use them in your quilts. They're calling out to you in the fabric store with their big, bold, vibrant colors and large scale prints! In this Zoom class, we look at various prints, fabrics and color-schemes of African wax prints and Kena will share tips and ideas for uses in your own quilt projects. Then we will cut into them and make a throw size quilt using a simple but classic pattern designed for this course.

Skill level: Participants should have beginner to intermediate sewing skills.
