As we wind down 2020, it is time to look forward. What new adventures are you planning to engage in during 2021? A new quilting technique, a pattern you always wanted to try, or completing another UFO? GQCCC will be having more speaker classes on Zoom beginning in January. Be sure to check them out and register at https://www.gqccc.org/class-registration.

The 2021 Quilt Show will be a virtual experience. As we begin down the road on a new journey, we will be letting you know how you can help and participate to make the show a success.

Unfortunately, the Farmhouse was closed to groups in November. We still have Zoom open sews on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. The Chicken Challenge mini-group is now on Zoom on the first Monday night of the month. You can find the Zoom information to join here in the newsletter, in the member’s section of the website, and on Facebook.

Helen Anderson and Mary Ann Johnson have stepped down as Co-First Vice Presidents. Thank you, ladies, for your service to the Guild. Without people being active in the running of the Guild, GQCCC would cease to exist. Donna Brooks has graciously agreed to be the interim First Vice President. Yeah, Donna!

The second Monday, December 14th, will be our holiday event, Aurifilosophy featuring Sheri Cifaldi-Morrill. You must register at www.gqccc.org/zoomregistration/ by Tuesday, December 8th or you cannot attend. Friday, December 11th, will be the only time you will receive your personal link to the meeting. Be sure to save that email.

Sheri has a pattern give-away that she will hold the night of the presentation. You can enter at https://www.wholecirclestudio.com/?page_id=1761. Members that attend the December event will be receiving swag from Aurifil. It will take some time to get since it is coming from Italy. Once it arrives, logistics on getting it to members will need to be decided. We will let you know once the plan is set.

Happy New Year.
