The mission of the San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles is to share and celebrate the art and culture of textiles.

The museum is reopening in July 2021 with the following hours: Friday – Sunday: 11am – 3pm. The Museum is closed during exhibition installations and on major holidays (New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve).

The 19th Falling Leaves Quilt Show presented by the Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild. The show will be held at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Lakeport, California.

The annual Benefit Auction is SAQA’s premier fundraising event! All proceeds help support SAQA’s exhibition programs, publications, and education outreach. Plus, your purchase helps increase the recognition for art quilts and the artists who make them.

The 2021 auction will take place online from September 10 through October 3. With hundreds of beautiful artwork available for bidding, there is something for everyone to enjoy! Anyone can participate – you do not have to be a member to bid!

This online FREE virtual quilt show begins on Thursday, September 9 and runs through Saturday, September 11. You can jump online at Quiltshow.com beginning at 8:30 AM each morning until 4:30 PM each afternoon. There will be SEW much to see… numerous quilt exhibits that you’ll be able to ‘walk’ through and view from the comfort of your home; numerous teachers who will be speaking on a variety of topics which will allow you to learn some new techniques; and there is also a Virtual Vendor Mall with 60 vendors…many of whom will have live demos!

All that is required is that you REGISTER! Do it today, and you will be able to peruse the schedule to see everything that will take place during the show. Set aside some time to jump on the website and view the lectures. There will be a ‘live’ Q&A after each session so you can ask questions.
