Happy August to you! A couple of things need your attention.
The Jenny Lyon free motion quilting class on September 18th needs people to make it a go. I took her class when she was here last time and it is well worth the money. Send a $65 check to the treasurer (Eileen Limberg) to save your spot and let Nancy Van Meter know you are enrolled.
Second thing is the Country Store is in need of fabric. The last few years they have not needed fabric because of estate donations. Fortunately, no one has died with a big stash!! So I’m asking each member to donate 1 yard of fabric (could be 2 half yard pieces) to the County Store. It is needed now so there is plenty of time to process it. Bring it to a meeting or put it in the box under the table at the Farmhouse. Thanks in advance.
Thanks to Dale Wolfe and Julia Nakao who made 70 Perkiomen blocks that were sent to the Ventura Modern Quilt Guild to assist the victims of the Thomas fire.
Plan on coming to the August 20 meeting to watch four demonstrations of different techniques. In addition, it is our summer social meeting. Hope to see you there!
