More About Sheila
Shelia is a fabric artist, designer, teacher, and pattern maker. Her
Sheila Collins’ art is a celebration of color and design. Her artwork came to be by combining her backgrounds in fashion design and graphic design with her love of sewing, and the results are bright, cheerful, and fun. Little did she know that a class in “How to Market Your Art” would put her on this wonderful, creative adventure.
Her preferred method for bringing ideas to life is with machine fusible appliqué. It gives her the freedom to design unique compositions. Her fresh designs and bright colors will leave you inspired and smiling.
Her art has been published in Stitch Magazine, and three times her art has been selected by Cherrywood Fabrics to travel internationally with their Challenge exhibits. Sheila had a One Woman Show, Special Exhibit booth at the Pacific International Quilt Festival, October 14-17, 2021.
